School Field Trips to Crazy4Bugs
We offer field trips in an effort to provide a unique, fun, educational activity that exposes children to “nature in the process.” Many are combined with additional activities, such as: lifecycle lectures, caterpillar patches, hand-on and observatory activities. Our School Field Trip Program is limited to field trips during the school day for schools, day-cares, home schoolers, etc.
Pre-booked groups on the weekends are not included in this program. Check the “Seasons” window then click the “Fall” widow for weekend group information.
We have developed new guidelines regarding chaperones. Most school districts now require SLED background checks for all chaperones traveling with a class on a field trip. Crazy4Bugs will now require that all approved chaperones wear a wrist band which we will mail to you before your visit. Adults will not be allowed to enter the farm facilities if they are not wearing their wristband.
